TFW Second day: Review
Friday night at 18 o’clock I was back in Salme Kultuurikeskus, it’s TFW Second day. And first show was about to start. I found my true two fashionistas with who to survive all these four days: Keilit and Mari-Liis, best company to see, enjoy and discuss! so my opinion about TFW Second day:
Year by Raivo Holm
Really nice start for the second day – simple and at the same time masculine. I really did like furry hats and coats, because these things are perfecto for our Estonian winter. These coats had also really nice cuts and patterns, also a little bit pink didn’t distract me. Also was nice to see guys in a catwalk and men fashion!
In short: MASCULINE
I remember that when I was still student I heard her name many times in school, because of our teacher was Maire’s good friend and silk pairings are her speciality. And now I see her design in here, Tallinn Fashion week. I think these colours were really good and most prints I also did like, but the show was too long, unfortunately I got bored seeing too many flowing dresses again and again.
In short: COULOURFUL
This was the show what I was waiting the most. I really like that she was using opposite colours together. For example to start the show with orange and blue mixture was so surprising. After that came of course grey and blue combinations and I just fall in love with one of the coat: purple-blue-black combo. It was just so good! And the show ended with dresses with huge forms. PS! These head pieces, really good!
In short: COMBINING
This show was to celebrate fashion and EKA’s fashion studies. All these amazing EKA’s teachers/designers (Anu Samarüütel-Long, Eike Einama, Anu Lensment, Gea Promet, Jaana Varkki-Truverk, Kai Saar, Kalle Aasamäe, Anu Ojavee, Marit Ahven, Vilve Unt) got one century and they made their collection out of it! Unfortunately I was behind the scenes with this show and that’s why I didn’t saw also Kaidi Kuur fashion show. I was helping one of my favourite person in this world – my good friend Eike Einama. She was finishing this show with her gorgeous dresses. These millennium inspired dresses and headpieces – love from first sight! What a women!
Also I totally liked Anu Samarüütel-Long 70’s inspired clothes, really cool thing what I would wear actually everyday. In total this show was definitely Second day best one, even though I saw it behind curtains. 😀
