TFW Third day: review
It’s a Saturday night and I also had plans for after shows, even though I was thinking that sleeping sound so much better than anything else. I had the busiest week of them all and at Saturday afternoon I had also book one photoshoot, so no free day at all.
But when I finally made it at 18 o’clock to the Salme Kultuurikeskus I knew that I was in the right place! Fashion is everything for me, and sleeping is for the weakest ones. So here is my TFW Third day: review!
TIINA by Tiina Talumees
I really do like Tiina’s style, really feminine and her clothes are always sitting perfectly. This time also the materials were so gentle and warm, exactly right for a cold weather. And I enjoyed that she had mixed pleated skirt part and wrapping in the upper part, it made it super chic and at the same time really casual. In these dresses every women are feeling good! My favourite one was that beige long sleeved and pleated down part dress, so pretty!
In short: FEMININE
I haven’t heard about Marilin Sikkal before but she blow me away with these beautiful sequins dresses. Even though I first thought that this collection is meant to be for older ladies, I was totally wrong. I would love to wear these bling-bling all the money can buy dress at the parties of New Year! And also these colourful skirts, really nice 60’s cuts and what a bright colours! And I have only good word that she was showing so many gorgeous mature ladies in a runway, what a nice touch!
In short: SURPRISE
First words out of my mouth were “Wow, this is exactly my style and I want it all!”. All this minimalism – straight cuts and hairy knits, just a perfect combo to wear at winter. And of course my this season favourite – pastel colours. I would buy all of these pastel blue and beige outfits, so me! That easy to win me is to put all these things together and I’m totally in love.
In short: PERFECT
And finally my all-time favourite young artist named Taavi Turk. I know him already since he made his first experimental collections back home and he has always been such a different designer. With really strong opinion and he is not afraid what the others are thinking. And it’s exactly like that this time: before the show started there were given out earplugs and then I was thinking that wow, Taavi, what are you doing with us! The show was definitely one of the best show in this year Tallinn Fashion Week. So dark and these models were too creepy with their mouths closed. Also plus points for these junky necklaces!
In short: DARK
And the final show of Third day was Ivo Nikkolo. Because it’s so massive, world class show I need to make this review with huge amount of pictures separately. Hope you enjoyed!
