It’s was the first presentation of my second time in the London Fashion Week. I knew it already that my first day will be the busiest time of this LFW because, in total, I had 8 presentations and 1 show on Friday.

Gone fishin’ was the concept behind minki’s a/w 17/18 presentation for London Fashion Week, which was presented in the Painting Rooms at the Royal Society of Arts. The story behind the Minki’s collection was going back to her childhood and growing up of wildly varying experiences. Minki used unique quality textiles and fabrics that suit her every whim. I fell in love with these fuzzy, color block coats and I liked that symbiotic mix of fish lures and fisherman stripes. I really liked that the models were swaying and dancing, rather than being statuesque, it’s bringing this collection concept alive and it felt like that the designer was creating a dialogue with her audience. Overall, this collection was a well-balanced combo of femininity, strength and sense of humor.
