I think it’s already the third time for me to sit in the first row as a fashion blogger at Tallinn Fashion Week. It’s so good to see all the Estonian designers work so closely and I’m more than happy to take some pictures to show you my favorite looks and good designs. PS! If you would like to see what’s happening tonight, follow me on Instagram, watch my IG stories or Snapchat(👻Fashion notes by Triinu)! It’ll be fun 😉
A young talented designer GITA opened Tallinn Fashion Week with her 90’s inspired collection “Don’t call me baby“. I have to say that this collection was exactly for me – slip dresses, furry coats and fishnet tights – such a perfect combo and honestly, I would wear every one of these pieces from her collection. Bravo Gita Siimpoeg!
Raili Nõlvak brought to the catwalk clean colors, geometrical cuts, and fascinating details. My favorite pieces were her designed culottes and vest tops!
It’s the first time for Kokomo Collection to present her new AW16 collection at TFW. I loved this collection stylist’s work – such a cool combo with heavy knits, oversized jumpers, and glittery dresses mixed with patent leather shoes and 0-glasses. My favorite pieces were these cool colorful jackets!
Golden Needle Gala has always been the most awaited event of TFW. There is always to awards – Golden and Silver Needle – together six talented designers nominated for these awards. This year’s Silver Needle went to the most talented young designer I know – Roberta Einer. I went to see her SS17 Collection presentation to London Fashion Week and I was so happy when I heard that she will be coming to her hometown to do her first ever runway show. And it’s amazing!
Lilli Jahilo, with her most feminine collection ever, won the Designer of the Year Award Golden Needle. She is such a strong Estonian woman who creates these delicate feminine dresses.
ALTHEA was the Elu24.ee Readers Favorite Designer ! Again timeless cuts, amazing chokers, and love this hairdo!
Also, I loved KÄT retro feeling collection where we saw bold colors, clean cuts, and finished styling. It’s a really inspiring collection!
Kristel Kuslapuu‘s collection was too crazy for me and Whitetail collection was just too simple.
Come back tomorrow for the Second-day Overview!
