As many of you already know (if you are following me on Instagram), Sander and I had a super fun vacation in Amsterdam last week. It’s already my 4th time and 3dr time for Sander. And we were lucky enough to have the warm and sunny weather. Before we have been there for the spring time and it has always rained.
This time, we decided to rent bicycles and I can tell you that it’s so much fun. We’re even sad that we only rent them for 24h. You can see so much more by cycling around the city. Unfortunately, at the first night, we didn’t have bikes so we’re walking around the East district. Why this side of the city? Because our hotel, Volkshotel, is located in that hip area and we had never seen this side of the city yet.
We discovered many beautiful parks on that night and I fell in love with the Park Frankendael. This historic park was such a romantic place with little secret paths and wildlife in it. We were wondering around park’s trails to enjoy the quiet night. It’s a great place for a quick escape and relaxation. I also love the Oosterpark, because I loved watching people spend time with their family and friends, sporting, having dinner and enjoying that beautiful weather. I wish that more people would do that in Tallinn because it’s really nice to be outside in nature.
I was wearing this beautiful Lindex summer dress which was perfect for the night time. What I love the most about this dress, are these beautiful bell shape and long sleeves. I mixed it with my signature hat (as many of you say on Instagram) and with white sneakers – when walking a lot, you always have to think about your comfort. Part 2 and 3 of our trip are coming next week!
