Our third day was filled with bikes, eating delicious food and meeting with my good friend Laura (who is living in Holland).
As I already told you on my first Amsterdam post, that we rented bikes from our hotel (12€ for 24 hours). This was the best idea because we wanted to go to the city center and later to the Foodhallen and after that to the Vondelpark. Walking would have taken too much of our time and our bicycles were super fast, so we managed to do all of what we had planned and even more.
The weather was super warm but little bit rainy so we tried to cycle when it’s not raining. We failed only when we cycled back to the hotel when a heavy thunderstorm rain hit us. Yeah, we were quite soaked after that. ? Thankfully later in the evening, it stopped and we took our bikes again and cycled a little more.
I’m such a fan of this outfit but this mini skirt was not the best option for cycling, too short for that. Next time I know and I will wear shorts or long dress.
After this trip, I can now honestly that we have seen most of it in Amsterdam. I absolutely love this city (despite the smell of weed in every corner) because of this architecture, canals and all those beautiful parks. I would immediately move there if somebody would make a good job offer for me or Sander. Anyone? ?
If you’re still thinking where to spend your holiday, then definitely put Amsterdam on top of your pocket list!
