Baltika AW14 fashion show
Yesterday (07.08) I was asked to see Baltika AW14 fashion show, and of course I was honoured to see it all at the first row. There were also a little welcoming gift – 20€ gift card for their new webstore called andmorefashion.com , they launched it just before fashion show and now you can shop online all Batika’s brands.
Before fashion show I was so excited about the location -a submarine manufactory at port Noblessner – sounds good right. But in reality they had some issues with temperature, it’s about 30 degrees inside this factory, because of warm weather (in Estonia it’s rare to have this kind of warm summer) and unfortunately there weren’t cooling system, so everybody felt like in sauna. My boyfriend said in funny way that he didn’t know that we have to take sauna hat and towels with us 🙂

Otherwise fashion show was little bit late, because of technical issues they had. But when show finally started about 20-30minutes late, I was enjoying the show. All materials and cuts what I saw at first row – super I would say! I even wanted to touch some of these coats just because they seem so warm and soft, of course I didn’t touch them.
Show started with Monton fashion selection – for my opinion I really liked 3 first outfit for women, but I think this season men looks was way better. So not estonain guy looks, more trendy and I liked that they have layered all these looks, so fashionable. I already picked out my favourite ones!
Mosaic is still little bit try for me, of course the age range is also not for me, but I was even little bit surprise that they have bring some nice new colours to autumn looks – bright pink, blue and orange.
My favourite part of this fashion show was Blue Inc part – so cool and fashionable young men popping and locking with fresh colours at runway. Totally new thing and I loved it – I just love when runway show is different than usually. See yourself!
Bastion collection was little bit too much glitter for me. I liked the fur details (hats and scarves), but that was it!
Baltman men were so chic and masculine – really good styling work! All these colourful combos with suits, socks and shoes – really really good!
And last but not least, Ivo Nikkolo – they were celebrating their 20th Birthday and we all saw it! Really the best looks – all these materials, cuts and details were styled together as world class fashionistas. I wanted all of these looks and shoes – really the best ones! Can’t wait to see how much they will cost and buy at least one pair of them. And the coats – love at first sight. Materials seemed so soft and with high-quality, of course that’s why the prices will be high too, but will see!
Overall I will give 4+ for Baltika AW14 fashion show, the heat and little technical issues are fixable and I can’t wait to see all these clothes at stores! Good work Baltika, you are entering at world class fashion!
