If I start thinking back about our trip in Zakynthos, the most wonderful time we spent was in the Blue Caves Villas. It’s a magical place in between crystal clear waters and the harmony of nature. There are 6 different size villas and we lived in Purple Villa. All houses are filled with equipment what you need for your holiday and much more. Purple Villa is a super comfortable family villa which accommodates 6 adults + 2 children, it is beautifully designed and offers wonderful sea views, especially at the night time. It features its own private pool with hydro-massage and direct access to the sea.
Upon our arrival our host Mr. Giorgos was welcoming us with the complimentary drinks, delicious white wine from their own winery. Also, we had fresh fruits (pomegranates) at the table and in the kitchen, we found many amazing homegrown organic products: olive oil, olives, oregano, rosemary, and lavender. If you have a baby or a child, then you don’t need to worry about baby cot bed, feeding chair or baby play yard, everything is upon request. Mr. Giorgos is the most helpful host I know because he helped us with every question or concern we had!
If you are keen doing sports, you have an access to the outdoor gym or kayaking by the Blue Caves. I didn’t find time to use an outdoor gym, but we tried kayaking and it’s so much fun even if I was scared at the beginning. I really do regret that we didn’t spend all these four days in the villa but there are so much to see at the north side of the island, so we wanted to drive around and also see beautiful places at this side of the island.
What I’m missing the most are our outdoor dinners at the covered veranda with the most amazing views of Kefalonia. And this cute dog Dias who spend a lot of time at our place.
This place has so much to offer but I also have to mention that it’s not the most reasonable price accommodation. But if you want to spend a luxurious week at the private, peaceful and romantic place, then Blue Caves Villas are definitely for you!
