Get lost in Venice

One of the best ways to get to know Venice is to simply get lost in its hundreds of alleyways. A great walk is from the centre – Rialto or St Mark’s Square – to our lovely green neighbourhood St. Elene’s. It’s a super nice area with lovely parks and greeneries. It’s the perfect area to rest your mind after busy St Mark’s Square because it’s a such a quiet area. A lot of people is using water-buses every day, but we find it so nice to walk back and forward: max 15-20 minutes walk depending how many tourists are in the city and how fast you usually walk. And I must say it’s a nice little exercise after all these pasta ‘n’ pizzas. My lovely friend Ave lent me the map to find our way from the airport to our hotel and from the hotel to the main sightseeings but I truly recommend you to just walk and get lost in the downtown streets (if you have unlimited time). There are so many nice little shops on your way and adorable restaurants what’s are hidden in the maze that you just have to find it by accident. And it’s so much fun walking by the canals and even the darkest of alleyways may lead to the most beautiful places! That’s how we found the perfect gondola ride, our favourite restaurant (La Perla) and super cute tourist’s shop with the Indian shop assistant.

PS! Again I was wearing a super comfy and stylish midi dress from Iris Janvier Business line. And did you noticed this color?! I’m getting a little comfortable in this amaranth shade of red, even if I’m not a huge fan of different shades of red, this was exactly perfect for the Venice streets. I must say that the dress cut was so nice and flexible for my “walking all day” mode. Grazie girls for that beautiful dress!
