Yay! My blog is back on track and no hacker could ever ruin my positive vibe! Who didn’t know yet, my site was hacked by some stupid people but now it’s working again and I must really thank my hubby for that! ?
Let’s now bring some fashion week vibe to my blog! This was my fourth season when I participated in London Fashion Week as a fashion blogger/influencer and I can honestly say that it’s getting harder to participate every time. I guess I don’t have that huge amount of followers on Instagram and it seems that it’s all that counts. I know that I have many readers in here, on my blog, but that doesn’t matter that much anymore. Obviously, I’m so thankful for all my readers and followers but if I want or like I could also buy myself more followers, comments, and likes, but I don’t find it honest and fare at all. How would I be a better person after that? Or how could I be a better fashion blogger when that one particular number is bigger? The answer is I wouldn’t be any better. The IG community has grown massively over the last year and it’s super hard to know who has the real audience and who doesn’t. The same thing is with the fashion weeks, you don’t even know these “famous” fashionistas anymore because you can buy your fame nowadays.
I still love going to the fashion week to see the new fashion trends and designs, talk with the designers, make photos for my blog but most of the people come here to show themselves and their outfits. I do that as well but it’s not the main reason to participate in fashion weeks or is it? The exposure, when you get to the best street style pages in Vogue, Elle or Fashionista magazine, is amazing and it’s every fashion blogger’s/influencer’s dream and I really do get it, but that’s not why I personally like fashion weeks. I’m not sure if I’m attending next season, but I’m super thankful for all the invitations I received this season and thank you for not only looking the number on Instagram! There will be many blog post this and next week about London Fashion Week, so stay tuned!
