Summer wedding outfit

If you have followed me on Instagram you have maybe noticed that on Friday we went to our friends wedding and my lovely followers asked me to make an outfit post what I was wearing there. I like when you are asking to show my outfits and I’m more than happy to make a post about that.

I have been in three summer weddings in my life and I love to wear something light and flowery if there are no dress code  or a colour combo of course. Long dresses and jumpsuits are my favourite clothing items for a wedding and I think the most important thing is that you have to feel yourself comfortable, buts still the most stylish guest. Good thing to remember if there is going to be a hot day not to choose body cone dresses because you will be all hot and sticky. Loose A-line dresses are always a nice option because they let you eat and drink as much as you like and weddings are all about eating good food and nice drinks.

If you’re choosing shoes, I strongly recommend block heel shoes what you have been wearing 3-5 times before because at weddings are lots of standing and dancing, also active games. So be prepared to have a long day at your feet and an extra pair of flats if you have a place to put them. With accessories, I don’t like to over top my outfit. Little earrings if I have loose hair and bigger earrings if I have my hair up. Some nice bling watch or bracelet can also look nice and reserved. Finally the most important – handbag. I know that lot of women don’t like to take a handbag to a wedding, but for me it’s a must have. A little cross body bag is my favourite because I can take my iPhone, lipstick, bronzer and pack of tissues.

One easy trick to remember is wear something matching with your date. I always try to match with my fiancé when we are going to the event together. Why? Because it’s nice to look stylish couples and they are catching everybody’s eyes.

PS! Don’t outshine the Bride, because she needs to be the most beautiful girl at their day. You can be next stylish girl with your outstanding outfit 😉
